A Little About Me

I am a detail-oriented communications professional with more than 25 years of experience writing, editing, producing and distributing a wide variety of communications, including newsletters, online content, surveys, feature and news articles, executive communications, training materials, PowerPoint presentations, and promotional materials.

I currently work for Cigna as a Business Communications Lead Analyst but was a full-time freelance writer/editor for more than two years before accepting a permanent position. As a freelancer, I've written and edited website content and feature articles for clients in the healthcare, real estate, travel, and craft industries.

Prior to working as a freelancer, I was a Communications Manager for UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Mass. For more than two years, I was dedicated to preparing the organization's employees for the October 2017 launch of Epic, an integrated electronic health record.

Prior to that, I worked for Tiffany & Co. in New York City for 10 years. I managed and produced all aspects of their primary internal communications vehicles. I also worked with Tiffany leadership to produce and execute communications strategies and tactics that supported company initiatives.

On a personal note, I live in Collinsville, Conn., but grew up on the shores of New Jersey. I lived in Holland as a child, attended college in Colorado (stayed in the beautiful state for eight years), called New York City home for 12 years and lived in Rhode Island for four. I have a passion for off-the-beaten-path travel, which has taken me to phenomenal places like Tanzania, Australia, India, Bali, and Egypt. I love photography so much that in another life, I would be a National Geographic photographer.
